"OTHER PLACES" is a series of films that capture the character of town life in different places around the globe. Take a look inside the everyday world of people somewhere different.
The main theme of the work is to show daily scenery of the local areas rather than symbolic materials such as tourist attractions. Many cities in the work are not tourist sites and some of the villages are not even in the map. I would like to represent "daily beauty" which is often invisible in our daily lives by making the most of the form of personal visual representation.
Right now I'm showing some simple version of data experimentally and I'm planning to publish a main version some time in the spring 2008.
This visual work is and all my future works which I'm distributing will be Tsuyoshi Tokunaga's personal projects.
